Am I The Owner Of The Music I Buy?
You are not the owner of the music. We still own the music and all of the copyrights. You bought a license that allows you to use the music according to the use specified in the license. You are not allowed to upload your project to YouTube’s Content ID System or market the music as your own. In doing so, you will be in breach of our licensing terms.
Is It OK To Monetize My Video With Your Song On YouTube?
Yes, if you purchase the license which allows you to do that. Feel free to email [email protected] with a copy of your receipt and the URL of your video. We will remove the third-party claim ASAP.
Can I Use Your Music On My YouTube Video Without Monetizing It?
Yes, you can. You will get a third-party claim automatically placed on your video and ads will run before your video starts.
I Got My VIdeo Flagged For “Matched Third Party Content” – What Should I Do?
In case you get a Third-party claim you can contact us on our email [email protected]. The receipt must be included. We will review the claim ASAP (usually up to 1 business day) and, if everything is OK, remove the claim. We suggest you private the video while the claim is being disputed so you don’t lose any ad revenue in the meantime.
